Sure, he schmoozes with international leaders, makes billion dollar decisions and hangs with Barack on a daily basis – but Joe Biden still likes a good discount, just like the rest of us.

This morning, the Vice President hit up the grand opening of a DC-area Costco store. He flashed his very own membership card, snacked on food samples and headed home with an apple pie.
His every step in the big box store was chronicled by waiting paparazzi, and they snapped shots of Biden perusing the baked goods, trying on watches and buying children’s books. He even pushed his own cart.
As far as an ulterior motive, the visit was probably more about promoting middle class tax cuts than scoring 25 pound boxes of Fruit Loops, but he still scored a pretty sweet haul: a flat screen TV, fire logs, kid’s books and yes, an apple pie.
