Living in Miami, you’ve probably already heard of Groove Cruise. But if you’re unfamiliar, here’s the scoop: It’s the “world’s largest floating dance festival” that sails from Miami to Cozumel. And the crazy party is happening this weekend.

To kick-off the festivities, and offer people the best food they’re bound to have all weekend (and perhaps the only food), Haven is hosting a Groove Cruise dinner party tonight from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Todd Erickson is giving those sailing off in the Groove Cruise tomorrow, as well as those missing out, the chance to be transported to the white sands and crystal clear waters of Cozumel via Haven’s jumbo screens.

After a few handcrafted cocktails infused with liquid nitrogen, you won’t know the difference between bar or beach. For the event, cocktails will run you only $10.

Dinner consists of a three course prix-fixe menu priced at $25 per person, beginning with your choice of hamachi, tuna or salmon sashimi, sweet frites, or HaVen’s signature tater tots smothered in Maytag bleu cheese.

For the main event, guests get to select two from the following: cucumber truffle, spicy tuna, spicy shrimp or California roll; jerk chicken or Swedish meatball skewers; falafel, gyro, lamb or prime beef sliders.

So to get groovy before the Groove Cruise without breaking the bank, head over to Haven tonight.
