Aventura prepare to get “burgerfied.” BurgerFi, Avenutra’s newest burger joint, will be opening its doors to the public at 18139 Biscayne Boulevard location on August 29. It will be their  sixth location overall in Florida, and first in Miami.

The chain is the “world’s first all-natural burger franchise in the marketplace” with farm-raised, made-to-order beef, specialty beef hot dogs and fresh-cut French fries.

For you veggie-heads and vegans, they have quinoa burgers. For all of you beer fiends, they will serve craft beer and wine, although the only true craft beers on their menu are Sam Adams, Harpoon and Brooklyn Lager (not including their monthly specials).

Without frozen custard, they can’t be a true burger joint, so that’s on their menu, too — and cupcakes, too!

All-natural, fresh-cut French fries are good indeed, but they are fried in 100 percent peanut oil. It seems that people with peanut allergies will have to eat fries elsewhere.

BurgerFi maintains a philosophy of environmental sustainability, claiming to serve all-natural grub (no chemicals, additives, preservatives), free range, grass-fed beef.

The store will even be built from “upcycled” construction materials, which is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality. Now that’s hardcore.

And of course they have a strict recycling program for their oil, cardboard, bottles and cans. With the recycled construction materials, the layout of the store will reduce their carbon footprint and be such that it will reduce their electricity bill by 66 percent.

Based in Palm Beach County, BurgerFi is poised to open 150 stores nationwide. They already have five locations in South Florida: in Coral Springs, Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Sunrise and Winter Park.
