Pompano Beach’s favorite surf rock three piece, The Gutter
Queens, are releasing their new six song EP at Solid Sound Studios this
Saturday. If you’re unfamiliar with Solid Sound Studios, it’s a rehearsal
studio in Pompano Beach (4616 N Powerline Rd) with a penchant for booking local
shows on the weekends. Solid Sound is an alcohol free club, so you’ll have to
do a little detox before hitting up this EP release, but the sounds of The
Gutter Queens will set you straight. They turn out a Man-or-Astroman style of
surf rock. Joining TGQ for this show are Bell Tower Falls, A Farewell to Arms,
and Our Crustacious Nemesis. The show starts at 8 p.m. and will run you $10.
