All praise Jah and celebrate love with music and good times at the inaugural Kulcha Shock Muzik Reggae Fallfest. All the good rastas and rude boys will be there, getting irie and mad lifted at Tobacco Road (626 S. Miami Ave., Miami) for this seminal event.
It’s an all-night bashment, so clear your whole evening this Saturday. Featuring Miami’s best reggae acts, the music will go from start to finish. The lineup is stacked with performances by Lance-O, Natty Remo, Lalibela Band, Don Sha, and Jahfé. They’ll deliver the Jamaican sound from every angle, with influences from the worlds of hip-hop, dance, and pure reggae culture.
Don’t be afraid to show up thirsty, for there will be delicious drink specials as well as gut-busting all-you-can-eat barbecue for $11.99 after 11 p.m., specially designed for your late-night munchies attack.
The party is soon comin’, so get yourself ready for the ultimate Miami reggae linkup. Let’s bring the vibes of Kingston to our own tropical paradise.
Sat., Sept. 28, 8 p.m., 2013
Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $16,750 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
