The tiny country of Belgium is certainly known for its chocolate and waffles. But mostly it’s known for its beer, which was full of flavor, character, and exotic infusions when American brewski was nothing but fizzy dishwater. So to celebrate the goodness of Belgium suds and to benefit the South Florida Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Coral Gables’ cozy Angelique Euro Café has teamed up with the brewmasters of Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, and Leffe for a four-course, beer-centric dinner. The dinner will take place Tuesday and feature delicacies such as drunken chorizo, Hoegaarden moules, and beer-braised osso buco. Call the restaurant to make rezzies.
