Before the Gap and American Apparel elbowed their way into the hood, Coconut Grove was the original arts district in Miami. This Saturday is the first offical Grove Art Walk, a monthly event that will prove there’s still art being created and exhibited in those well-canopied streets. This month’s walk will unveil several of the latest exhibitions by renowned artists and premier a new gallery – RODEZart.com Gallery, by the internationally-recognized George Rodez. Other galleries featured in the Walk include Cristina Chacon Studio Gallery, Blu Moon Studio, the Paris-founded Nomade Gallery, long-time Grove establishments GroveHouse Artists and Windisch-Hunt Fine Art, and the Coconut Grove Arts Festival Gallery.
