Reader support matters more than ever

Do you like delicious food? Do you like top-shelf cocktails? How about combining the two for a good cause? Because that’s exactly what the Miami-Dade Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Foundation will do during its third annual Taste of Miami — and you’re invited.
It will be an evening of culinary exploration, with specialty dishes provided by local restaurants such as Centerplate, Cha Cha Rooster, David’s Café, Seasons 52, and City Hall. Signature cocktails will be served by Bacardi and Grey Goose. And the best part: You can pig out guilt-free, because proceeds will fund the free services of the LGBT Visitor Center and the foundation’s scholarship program.
