By the bright light of day, Miami resident Clarence Reid is a mild-mannered 65-year-old songwriter who once penned hits for Top 40 stars such as KC & the Sunshine Band and Betty Wright. By night, though, he becomes Blowfly, a masked, caped, and pussy-crazed rapper-slash-superhero fighting for our collective right to be the sleaziest, skeeziest, and eaziest motherfuckers to ever roam the streets of Planet Earth.
Join the orgy this Friday at 9 p.m. when old Mr. Reid sheds his alter ego and his pants for Blowfly’s party at Churchill’s Pub. Expect strippers, sidekick MonstrO (AKA Juan Montoya), public displays of sexual solidarity, black-market bottles of Viagra, and rap-along renditions of “The Booty Bus,” “Should I Fuck This Big Fat Ho?” and “First Black President.” What? That last one got you confused? Well, Blowfly is not only a pervert but also a patriot.
