At La Marea, in the über-luxe Tides South Beach, the restaurant’s Dinner With Friends series continues with guest chefs Giancarla Bodoni of Escopazzo and Gabriel Fenton of Bourbon Steak preparing five-course meals for a select group of 20 to benefit Common Threads, which teaches kids how to cook and eat healthfully. Bodoni’s dinner will take place Thursday, December 16, and Fenton will get behind the stove Thursday, January 20. Dinners begin promptly at 7 p.m., cost $75 per person, and definitely require reservations.
