Get ready to work up a sweat Thursday and Saturday. Get Physical, the label known for keeping melody and funkiness alive in Berlin dance music, presents two parties for Winter Music Conference this year. Consider the first, a day party at the Gansevoort presented by Pacha NYC, a warmup. That doesn’t mean the lineup isn’t intense, though; headliners include Get Physical cofounders Philipp Jung and Patrick Bodmer — AKA M.A.N.D.Y. — plus DJ T. After eight hours poolside Thursday, consider taking a break before the main event Saturday night: the annual Get Physical party. It has grown out of its Eleventh Street digs; thus presenters Safe Music have moved it to Wynwood’s Charcoal Studios and scored a triple-trouble coup. For the evening’s headlining set, M.A.N.D.Y. will face off against Matthew Dear and Damian Lazarus in an epic tag-team. It’s enough to make a techno-electro-house lover’s head explode. Tiefschwarz and Heidi will also reappear, as well as German bad boy DJ Hell and other guests.
