Journey, AC/DC, and The Crue may be the planned framework behind the Feelgood’s musical vibe, but local house heads kept showing up to the bar and demanding a night to serve them. Thanks to Inbal Lankry, now they’ve got it and it’s called Retox. “The crowd is Miami locals and visiting hipsters. There’s no dress code, but it’s an upscale looking place with a relaxed vibe. There’s no cover, the music is on point and beautiful and it’s a great place to come in have a drink and get down,” says Inbal, who DJ’s alongside her brother Baby Sean and upcoming guests including Sunshine Jones of Dub Tribe Sound System.

So how do you move to the syncopated beats of house music? “There’s some b-boying in it, flips and all that, but with more like a Latin twist, and jumpy, with groove and pop to it, but not like pop locking, it’s a pop with a funk.” Umm, okay.
