Chelsey Dequaine-Jerabek has been the executive editor for Voice Media Group since March 2026, after serving as editorial director since January 2023. She oversees editorial departments at Miami New Times, Dallas Observer, Denver Westword, and Phoenix New Times. She also leads VMG’s audience teams, focusing on content, social media, newsletter, and membership growth strategies. Chelsey has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has worked most of her career in her home state of Wisconsin. Before joining VMG, she held roles for daily and alt-weekly newspapers in writing, editing, audience strategy, digital marketing, and social media. Chelsey is based in Denver.
