$10,000

Sure, you might be single, but are you savvy? Even if you’re not lucky enough to be chosen as one of Miami’s 50 Savviest Singles, you might still be able to pick one up for yourself. Hosted by the New Times and Hope Center, a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive services and support for people with developmental disabilities, tonight’s event will celebrate local singles who make a positive impact on our community. In addition to complimentary snacks and cocktails, there will be DJs and a casino area, plus Volkswagen will be on hand with cars and guitars.

Do you think you would have a better chance of finding love on television? Representatives from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will be in the house in search of men and women who are “ambitious, charming, and successful and who are looking to settle down,” according to the casting sheet. Visit thebachelor.warnerbros.com for details. The singles will be swinging from 7:00 to 10:00 at Bricks Night Club (66 SW Sixth St., Miami). Tickets cost $50 in advance, $60 at the door.
