We are nearing the end of another exciting week here at Riptide, so it is time for this blogger to round up the weekly pig skin-ery and post a picture of something cute involving a football. For this week I’ve chose a confused bunny holding a ball. Adorable, no?
Miami Dolphins @ Denver Broncos, 4:05 pm Sunday on CBS5
Predicting the outcome of a Miami Dolphin’s game this season is fruitless. They’ve surprisingly beat two solid teams, and fell to the previously win-less Texans. Football fortune tellers are calling it either way, and I’ll abstain, but the Fins have beat the Broncos 10 out of 13 times they’ve meet. So who knows? Like the troubles I’ve seen, nobody.
UM Hurricanes @ Virginia Cavaliers, Saturday at Noon.
Will you step up to support New Times this year?
We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If Miami New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
Canes are on an ACC streak, and things are starting to fall in place. Though, the Cavaliers are coming of four wins in a row. The winner may be an ACC title favorite, and It might very well be a close one, too bad the thing won’t be on tv. WVUM and WQAM usually broadcast the games though.
FIU Golden Panthers @ Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns. Saturday 5 p.m. on WINZ am
Only two teams in the Sunbelt Conference have undefeated in-conference records. FIU lost to one two weeks ago and plays the other this week. If they win, they’d hold on to their chance at a conference championship. If they lose, well nothing is for sure, but better luck next year.
