Across the nation, Black Lives Matter protesters have taken to the streets over the police killings of Alton Sterling in Louisiana and Philando Castile in Minnesota. Gathering Saturday, Miami’s marchers shut down traffic downtown and on the MacArthur Causeway.
More than 200 people began the protest outside Wynwood Walls before marching down to Biscayne Boulevard, up to the MacArthur, and back into the arts district.
New Times videographer Alex Markow was there to document their voices, their signs, and their calls for police reform.
