Rob Van Winkle, better known to the world as Vanilla Ice, is filming a new reality show in Wellington, the posh suburb west of Palm Beach. The show, tentatively scheduled to debut in September on the DIY Network, will feature Rob and some of his buddies overhauling a foreclosed upon house in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in South Florida.
“It’s going to like [A&E Network’s] Flip This House on steroids,” he told me. “It’s going to be huge.”
I stopped by the house where they’re filming recently and Rob showed me around. He pointed out some of the rather spectacular additions he making to the mansion, and explained some of the more ridiculous stunts the guys have pulled during the renovations.
We’ll have more details early next week, but here’s a clue: his walleroo may make a special appearance.
