LeBron James just Tweeted a photo of the Miami Heat posing in hoodies in honor of Trayvon Martin.
His Tweet reads, “#WeAreTrayvonMartin #Hoodies #Stereotyped #WeWantJustice.”
We can’t remember the last time professional athletes took a stand on political issues or criminal cases.
So far, the uploaded iPhone picture has received 41 comments, most of which praise the team for publicly taking stand on the case. Other commenters protest the players should take $2,000 out of their checking accounts to start a Trayvon Martin fund instead of taking time to pose for the photo.
