There’s nothing like a sad song and a cold beer when your soul is feeling a little sore, and the Titanic Brewing Company has just what you need to kill both of those birds with one heavy, heavy stone. The Wednesday night Blues Jam at the pub — named best microbrewery of 2005 by New Times — offers the perfect cocktail of music, brews, and booze.
Hosted by the four-piece Chris Cosner band, the night starts off with the group doing its thing. As the night wears on, the band’s size and dynamic changes with musicians of all varieties sitting in and jamming along. To listen and jam is free (to drink beer is not). So roll your heavy heart over to the Titanic, 5813 Ponce De Leon Blvd., Coral Gables. The session starts at 9:00 p.m. and wails soulfully until 12:30 a.m.
Wed., April 4, 9 p.m.
