Paper tigers, kids with guns, and pro footballers playing in a flurry of color-chart chunks. That’s just a quick glimpse of the visual trip that awaits at the 2010 New World School of the Arts “Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition.”

Running through May 7 at the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation, the 2010 exhibition is a student-curated group show featuring photos, prints, videos, and other assorted artiness from 22 newborn BFAs. One of the grads — Jacuzzi Boys’ singer-guitarist Gabriel Alcala — is already a local celebrity. The others — such as sculptor Autumn Casey, illustrator Sebastian Castro, painter Orlando Robaina, and photographer Ibett Yanez — are soon-to-be art stars.

Thursdays-Sundays, noon. Starts: April 8. Continues through May 7, 2010
