The Morgans Restaurant provides a sip-worthy reason to venture out on hump day: Drink Special Wednesdays. This Wednesday-only special offers beer, wine by the glass, and sangria pitchers for half off regular price. Beer options check in at $2 to $4 and include Red Stripe, Guinness Draught, Stella Artois, and Chimay Ale. Wine by the glass will cost $4 to $6, while sangria drinkers can choose red, white, or rose pitchers for $14. Prices are valid from open to close (11 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
Guests can sit at the bar, in the indoor dining room, or on the Southern-style front patio. If a meal or appetizer is ordered, Morgans’ uniquely delicious breadbasket is complimentary; on our visit, it came with warm cornbread, crisp sticks, and soft butter. Appetizer options include chilled sweet pea soup ($8), panko-crusted coconut essence tofu ($8), and a cheese board ($14).
