Potato latkes are delicious.

Look, it may be Thanksgiving, but it’s still Hanukkah, and that means a valid excuse to eat golden fried potato pancakes for eight crazy nights. Plus, what goes great with turkey? Potatoes!

We consulted Miami’s latke expert, Danny Serfer, who makes them year ’round at his Blue Collar restaurant, for the best possible way to utilize the latke for all your food needs this holiday season.

Serfer came through with three ways to incorporate potato pancakes into Thanksgivukkah celebrations. Hint: You don’t have to celebrate the holiday to enjoy these golden brown delights.

First, he shared his basic (and delicious) latke recipe, which is the perfect substitute to mashed potatoes (heck, serve both).

Then, Serfer got all schmancy, turning the pancakes into appetizers like mini-Corbens, pizza latkes, and caviar-topped treats.
