Is your idea of a good time eating cheesecake on a lanai, singing at the Rusty Anchor, breeding minks, or telling stories about a herring-obsessed Viking town? If so, put on your best shoulder-padded, sequined dress and head to the Colony Theatre this weekend for The Golden Gays, a musical drag spoof of those OG cougars, The Golden Girls. The Los Angeles-spawned play is having its three-show East Coast debut in the frisky foursome’s TV hometown, Miami. It centers on four male superfans urged by their psychologist to indulge their rhinestone-studded and liver-spotted fantasies by moving in together and dressing like Rose, Blanche, Dorothy, and Sophia. So get your tickets online or keep them waiting — like Dorothy by the phone on a Friday night — at will call.
