Paul Anka is a legend with a highly respected, 900-song body of work. And in case you didn’t know, no, he’s not the decaf version of a hot mug of Sanka. In the spirit of short bios about folks that every music lover should know: The Ankster rose to fame in the ’50s as a teen idol whose pompadour and vocal agility allowed him to traipse up the Italian charts as easily as he did the North American ones. But his pipes aren’t his only claim to fame; the Canadian national penned “My Way” for Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones’s warbling hit song “She’s a Lady,” and Michael Jackson’s latest release, “This Is It” (originally titled “I Never Heard”).

Or perhaps you still think Paul Anka is that dog on the now-defunct but apparently awesome TV show Gilmore Girls. In that case, hit the Seminole Hard Rock so this chestnut-dyed silver fox can show you who he is.
