$7,500

We do not mean to alarm you, but the holidays are sneaking up. Since you forgot to make plans to flee the country and convert to another religion to avoid the hassles of shopping, baking, and visiting in-laws, it is time to begin making your lists. Vodka? Check. Wine? Check. Rum? Check. Okay, you have beverages covered, now how about some solids to put on the table? If you’re not sure what to make, or if you don’t feel like making anything at all, you’ll want to check out the Fresh Market’s Taste of the Holidays Sampling Event. The Fresh Market in Aventura and Coconut Grove (2640 S. Bayshore Dr.; 305-854-7202) will put out the turkey, ham, stuffing, and all the rest of your favorite trimmings today from noon to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Still hungry? You can do it again next weekend.
