So Alain Maximilien, a.k.a. the Haitian Hillbilly, is throwing down what he refers to as “an extended version of a soundtrack to a Quentin Tarantino movie” tonight, and hopefully every Monday forthcoming, at SoBe’s Buck 15. As usual there is no cover at the cozy bar located on top of Miss Yip’s just off Lincoln and Meridian on South Beach. The Haitian Hillbilly is a man about town with good taste in music and a big heart. I can definitely predict that his music will be very good and that the crowd will be mellow. One extra feature of the night is that he will be raffling off a one-hour DJ set for the following week, so aspiring DJ’s get ready.
