Who loves free vodka and British accents? Say “I” ’cause you’re in for a treat with Smirnoff’s “Nightlife Exchange Project” — a one-night affair involving 14 different countries who signed up for an “experiment in global nightlife culture.” The idea: showcase the best music, food, fashion, drinks, and party like an international rock star.
So what city did Miami get blessed with? None other than London, UK. A perfect match since Miamians love pasty, British blokes on vacation who can’t get enough of trance music and mojitos.
To highlight the best of the Brits, we have superstar DJ and producer Seamus Haji of Big Love Music. Best known for his 2004 remix of “Last Night a DJ Saved My Life,” Seamus is the remix master, having done some serious dance floor facelifts for artists like Rihanna, Mariah Carey, the Tings Tings, and Moby. Other DJs will include Miami’s own DJ Irie, Chicago’s own Andre Harris and Philadelphia’s native son King Britt.
Yeah … Not very UK if you ask us. But then again, King Britt’s name does sound, um, British? Well, despite the hodge-podge, it’s sure to be a mega-bash. Oh, and did we mention the open bar? Nevermind the bollocks, here comes the hangover!
