The on again off again post-industrial mega band Skinny Puppy has announced a November 20 stop at Revolution Live. Nivek Ogre and cEvin Key, the band’s only two constant members, have been grinding out their brand of dark electronic music since 1982. After breaking up in 1995 and again in 2000, Ogre and Key got the band back together in 2003 and have released two albums on their most recent label Synthetic Symphony. Their most recent album, Mythmaker, hit stores in January 2007 leaving fans wondering if they’d be producing another album or if a breakup was eminent. According to their website though, they’ve been hard at work on a new album which should drop sometime in October. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday through Ticketmaster.
