If checking out the Get Up Kids reunion show on November 12 isn’t your thing, perhaps this will float your boat (pun very much intended). There’s a boat, a big one at that, setting sail from Miami that very same day which will have Rick Springfield, Richard Marx, Brandon Barash (of General Hospital fame), Doug Davidson (Young & Restless alum), and Mark Goodman (MTV) all aboard and ready to rock their way across the Atlantic.
On the way to Cozumel, Mexico, everyone on board can look forward to performances by Mr. Springfield and Mr. Marx, both with full backing bands and intimate acoustic shows, question and answer sessions with all the celebrities, cocktail parties, and the grand finale as Rick Springfield will play the entire Working Class Dog album live to thousands of swooning fans. The cruise is scheduled to go from November 12 to November 16, and tickets start at $899. There will also be an additional port fee of $219 per person, but that’s a very small price to pay for a five-day cruise with the man who really wants Jessie’s Girl.
