Two years after his fall from grace at CNN, Rick Sanchez has finally snagged a new regular TV job. He’s headed to MundoFOX, Fox’s newly created Spanish-language TV network aimed at Hispanics. According to The New York Times, he’ll be filing daily news stories for the network, and hosting news specials through out the year. And, yes, he’ll remain stationed in Miami.

Sanchez was hosting a daily Twitter-infused afternoon show on CNN with rapidly growing ratings before being fired for making sloppy remarks on a Sirius XM radio show which came off like he was inferring that Jews ran the media.

Since then he’s done color commentary for the FIU Golden Panthers’ football games and joined Fox News as an occasional contributor earlier this year.

“I’m excited about MundoFox especially because MundoFox is really about the conversation that we’ve had about reaching out to that highly interactive first-, second- and third-generation Latino who resides in the United States and who, for the most part, have not been represented in the dissemination of news in the Unites States,” he told The Times.
