Several weeks have passed since you did some soul searching and made those heartfelt resolutions, so isn’t it about time to begin living up to the standards you set for yourself? Although they might not be able to assist you with exercising or reading more, the American Red Cross of Greater Miami and the Keys is about to make it a little easier for you to fulfill your promise to volunteer in your community. Tonight is the launch party for the Young Professionals of the Red Cross, a new subgroup that aims to raise awareness and relief funds by organizing fun events in the area. The kickoff for budding philanthropists begins at 7:00 at Chispa, 4100 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables. Complimentary snacks and drinks will be served.
