$7,500

It’s the second week of the O, Miami poetry festival, so we’re guessing about a quarter of you have encountered at least one poem by now, right? Thanks to the monthlong event’s guerrilla programming, verse is being trailed behind planes, shouted from Ferraris, printed on menus, and even shown on Department of Motor Vehicles screens. For those who’d prefer a deliberate intake of culture this week, the festival’s insanely ambitious schedule continues. On Thursday and Friday, National Book Award finalist Anne Carson will partner with modern dancers at NOX and STACKS at the Moore Building.

Thu., April 7, 7 p.m., 2011
