Everyone grieves in different ways. Some like crying endlessly, while others just like to be left alone. But for everyone who wants to pay respect to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, while having a bit of fun — which we’d like to think is how Michael would have wanted it — there are a few local tribute parties that have come to our attention:
Tonight, Transit Lounge will be hosting a Michael Jackson happy hour tribute from 5 to 8 p.m. Jackson’s repertoire of music and videos will be playing as you drink in memoriam.
Further north, in Miami’s Design District AE District will be hosting a Jackson tribute from 8 – 11 p.m. The party will be playing all of Jackson’s greatest hits courtesy of DJs Induce, Manuvers and Ideal with complimentary drinks by 42 Below.
