Panther Coffee is a finalist for the 2013 Good Food Awards. They are the only finalists from Florida.
The Good Food Awards celebrate responsible food production and superior flavor. The awards, held annually, honor those who produce delicious eats, all while respecting the environment and developing a sense of community.
Categories include: beer, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, coffee, confections, pickles, preserves, and spirits.

In order to meet Good Food’s criteria, producers and farmers must prepare foods without the use of artificial ingredients, hormones, synthetic pesticides, herbicides and fertilizer or genetically modified ingredients.
182 finalists were selected from over 1,000 entries this year. 99 winners will be announced in San Francisco on January 18, 2013, in a presentation by Alice Waters. This is the third year of the awards.
They honor both producers and farmers. Panther Coffee is a finalist along with Finca El Ventilador in Colombia.
