Fairchild Tropical Garden had a record-breaking winter season with its “Chihuly at Fairchild” exhibit. The amazing display drew in masses of visitors, many of whom would not typically have trekked to the 83-acre tropical haven. And crowds can expect to be doubly pleased this weekend when the awe-inspiring blown-glass artworks will be shown at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s fourth annual International Orchid Festival. More than 40 international growers will be on hand for this weekend-long event. Enjoy guided tours, lectures, Polynesian music, and a few hip-shaking hula and fire dancers. Enjoy South Florida’s natural beauty and snap up a magnificent orchid to spice up your pad.
