Remodeling is finished, and the iconic News Cafe on Ocean Drive has returned to serving informal fare 24/7.
The water supply at downtown Miami’s Epic Hotel has been cleared and Area 31 is back in biz — with seatings left for New Year’s Eve: Cocktail reception, five-course meal, champagne toast, and an individual candy box with truffles and Lapsong Suchong Tea candies. $150 pp.

The Cape Cod Room at The Bath Club will be offering a champagne
cocktail upon arrival, and the regular a la carte menu — along with a
few dinner specials for the occasion. The restaurant will be open for
dinner from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. — leaving time to scoot somewhere
by midnight.
