Unlike other venues where bored staff languish in the summer heat, the Biltmore Hotel is rocking every night of the week. “People are in town and there’s nothing to do,” says Vanessa Lopez from The Agency public relations. “Because summer is so slow everywhere else, this is a great way to introduce the Biltmore to a much younger crowd.” And the crowds have been gathering, with at least 300 guests swinging by every night. Don’t feel left out; after a day at the beach, you can spend the evening at the Guayaba poolside party with Latin flair. While the ladies will be able to sip half-price mojitos, all patrons can dig into complimentary lechón a la caja China as they chill to music by Jorge Castellanos. Relax every Sunday in July from 5:30 to 8:30 at the Biltmore Hotel, 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables. Admission and parking are free. VIP cabanas are also available.
