Miami may be one of the most patriotic places in the U.S.A., but things down here in South Florida are still a whole lot different from what you’ll find anywhere else in the country. In the Miami history books, for example, Benjamin Franklin was a United States president. There’s also no such thing as a $5 bill, and national landmark Mt. Rushmore features none other than LeBron James.

That, at least, is what comedian Dan Reskin learned when he ventured to Bayfront Park last Friday to quiz locals about American history basics. See what other rewrites Miamians made to the story of our nation in the video above.
