The 17th-annual Miami Marathon and Half-Marathon will take place this Sunday. About 25,000 runners are expected to fill the streets of Miami and Miami Beach.
Traditionally, the evening before a big race, runners carbo-load by scarfing down steaming bowls of pasta to store energy for the miles to come.
To help, a few area restaurants are offering special pre-marathon dinners. Plus, other establishments will celebrate runners’ accomplishments with post-marathon deals.
