Miami has no use for your antiquated wires. According to a survey of small-business owners and employees conducted by AT&T, Miami is the wireless-savviest business market in America. It shouldn’t really come as a surprise that Miamians are addicted to their cell phones and other Wi-Fi devices, though.
According to BizJournals.com, the survey was conducted only in 12 cities, but Miami came out on top. More respondents said they couldn’t stay afloat or do business in Miami without wireless technology than any other city. Here are the rankings:
1. Miami
2. Atlanta
3. San Diego
4. Dallas
5. San Francisco
6. Oklahoma City
7. Washington, D.C.
8. Chicago
9. Indianapolis
10. Kansas City
11. Boston
12. Cleveland [Ed.: Sorry again, Cleveland.]
More than anywhere else, Miami businesses are addicted to their cell phones. Miamians also rank the importance of their smartphones higher than eight of the other cities in the survey.
