More than 22 million people of Caribbean heritage live in the United States, a large percentage of whom reside in Miami. But tonight from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., all cultures are invited to enjoy Caribbean traditions at the first JüneFest, at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.

Throughout the evening, sample traditional Caribbean cuisine while artists and fashion models complement musicians who will keep the night pulsating with rhythms of the islands. Scheduled events include a red-carpet entrance followed by an art exhibition and silent auction; an opening ceremony featuring musical prodigies and dancers; and a Caribbean cooking show hosted by the Chef Creole Seasoned Kitchen TV show. You can shake it to the sounds of Code Red (reggae), Chaonda (Latin-Caribbean), Strings (French-Caribbean), Erol Josué (the “Prince of Haitian Roots Music”), and Latin Grammy winner Nestor Torres. There will also be a fashion show and a festive closing ceremony. Tickets cost $75, which includes an open bar from 6:00 to 9:00. VIP tickets ($150) include an open bar all night and closer proximity to celebrities. VIP table packages are also available. Call 866-428-9885, or visit www.junefest.net.
