Nothing says summer in Miami better than mangos. Year after year, Fairchild
Tropical Botanic Garden
celebrates the rich variety of the so-called king of
fruit with the annual Mango Festival. Lather up in SPF lotion and head over to the garden
on Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10, when the mangos of Hawaii take center
stage in lectures, cooking demos and, our favorite: mango tastings. Because

when it feels like 100 degrees out, there’s no better sensation than mango juice
dripping down your chin. Admission is $25 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and up
and $12 for children 6-17. Free for Fairchild members.

July 9-10, 10 a.m., 2011
