Lupe Works His Way Toward Hip-Hop Redemption

So, my money says that the whole Fiascogate won’t help Lupe Fiasco sell records when his new album, The Cool, drops later this year. The MC was never really relevant to hip-hop’s thug elite, and he’s pretty much pissed off the backpacker crowd by dissing A Tribe Called Quest last month as well. That doesn’t bode well for album sales, and it’s a shame cause, so far, the new album sounds pretty good. Lupe writes great concept songs and the video for “And he Gets the Girl” is a nice piece of work. Check it out below and just try to hate on Lupe for this one.
