DJ Heavygrinder is a sexy Japanese schoolgirl who loves Cannibal Corpse, house music, and making people dance (in blood up to their ankles). She’s played in cities from Atlanta to Ibiza, and this Saturday, the L.A. party girl will be one of 60 performers at Spirit of Sound Gathering: Pisces Edition at the American Legion. The show will feature five stages of entertainment, laser lights, fire dancing, and a “naughty party bus.” Make sure to drink lots of water, and don’t forget your Vicks inhaler.
Highlights include sets by SanedracHunter, Jenn Martinello, Foxx, and Slomo and live percussion by Ivo Boidanich. If you find yourself in the Spirit Room getting your tarot cards read — don’t freak out. The party is all about positive energy.
