An evening to chill in the Keys, a quintet of delectable desserts, each paired with a different dessert wine… how bad can that be?
Treat your sweetheart and your sweet tooth to the Sweet Dreams Dessert & Wine Pairing, set for Saturday, July 31, at the Key Largo Conch House.
On the dessert-wine menu for the 7 to 10 p.m. fest are peach crepes, flourless dark chocolate torte, panna cotta with fresh berries, apple-walnut tart and Key lime square, to be paired with Banfi Rosa Regale, Donnafugata Ben Rye, Moscato d’Asti, Beaume de Venise and Campbells Rutherglen Tokay. Make rezzies by calling the restaurant at 305-453-4844.
We’re thankful for you. Are you thankful for us?
We feel thankful for our staff and for the privilege of fulfilling our mission to be an unparalleled source of information and insight in Miami. We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community.
Help us continue giving back to Miami.
And if that doesn’t tickle your tonsils, there are 10 days of other food and wine events, from Friday, July 30, to Sunday, August 8, all part of the 2010 Key Largo Food and Wine Festival. The details are here.
Oh, and the answer to the question, How bad can that be?
Not a bit.
