Kevin Olsen could be the offensive savior of the Miami Hurricanes, but the kid has already found himself in trouble before he’s come to campus.
One of the top prospects of the ‘Canes incoming recruiting class, Olsen was charged in a one-car accident during which he may have been under the influence.
According to Patch.com, Olsen allegedly ran his car into a tree in his Wayne, New Jersey, neighborhood and then drove away without reporting the incident to police. A witness claims that soon after Olsen’s black SUV hit a parked car. Olsen got out to survey the damage and then simply walked away from the scene again without contacting police.
The police report says that Olsen’s face appeared to be bloodied and that he “appeared to be under the influence of something.”

His driver’s license was found outside of his house the next morning. He’s scheduled to appear in Wayne court on June 20 to answer to the charges.
Olsen is the younger brother of former Hurricane and current Caroline Panther Greg “G-Reg” Olsen. He was ranked as the seventh best pocket-passing QB of his class, and has been dubbed Miami’s “QB of the future.”
