You are here. If you love maps, here should be the Miami-Dade Cultural Center, where the Historical Museum of Southern Florida is hosting the fourteenth annual Miami International Map Fair, a weekend in which tons of antique maps in various shapes and sizes will be on display. This celebration of the tool that lets you know where you are (and how to get where you’re going) draws map dealers, collectors, and enthusiasts from the ends of the Earth. The number one map fair in the world takes place Saturday and today from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Miami-Dade Cultural Center. Admission is ten dollars for adults, two bucks for children ages six to twelve, and free for museum members and children under six. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Historical Museum of Southern Florida.
Sat., Jan. 27, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun., Jan. 28, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
