These days the name Zero Mostel hardly registers in celebrity circles. But once upon a time, in the 1940s and 50s, Zero Mostel was one of the most successful actors in showbiz. Then came the House Committee on Un-American Activities, and there went Zero–he was one of those actors blacklisted in Tinsel Town. Zero Hour transports you back to the multi-talented actor’s studio in the midst of his chaotic life and throws in a naive reporter who is tryign to interview the controversial and volatile star. Fireworks erupt. Zero Hour is part of the Double Chai Series at Aventura Arts and Cultural Center.
