While you’re complaining about the chills that accompany our joke of a fall season, our northern brethren are huddling around fireplaces, sipping hot toddies, and planning to party indoors for the next five months. We should feel damn lucky all we have to do is throw on one extra layer to avoid the shivers. And we should also thank our lucky stars we can still cool out at outdoor events like the weekly party Shore Thing Sundays at the Shore Club.

From 2 p.m. to 3 a.m., you can lounge at Skybar, one of SoBe’s most coveted pieces of relaxation real estate. The oasis has four different zones; you can command a cabana at Sandbar, sample one of 75 varieties of rum at Rumbar, make it hot in the Redroom, or kick up your feet in the outdoor living room, the Redroom Garden. Wherever you decide to chill, the legendary DJ Irie will be providing your soundtrack. The fun is free, but for table and cabana reservations, call 786-276-6772 or e-mail skybarreservations@morganshotelgroup.com.

Sundays, 2007
