And now’s there’s pop opera — all the voice with none of the distracting story line or acting. Suddenly, teenage girls (and their divorced moms) have a new genre to add into their iTunes playlists.
Ever since Il Volo hit the stage on American Idol, the group has been stealing hearts and cashing checks around the world, especially in the States, land of stupid Americans. Thursday they take over the Fillmore Miami Beach for a show that will surely be so girl-shriek-piercing that dads will need to wear earplugs.
